“Who was that band!? They were amazing!!” I have heard this about 15 times by now! My fiance and I didn’t want a “typical wedding band” for our wedding – the idea of the Chicken Dance or “YMCA” playing did not appeal to us in the slightest. So when we found the Doug Segree Band we were pleased to see their song list. They had everything from Sinatra to Pearl Jam – and some perfect songs in between. Then, at our wedding in August they completely ROCKED the house. I cannot believe how many compliments I received from all of our guests! One of the best parts is that you work directly with Doug when figuring out your contract – no pesky band managers to work through who are trying to sell you 10 bands at the same time. Doug is personable, upfront, and very available to chat when you need him. The band traveled from Annapolis for our wedding, arriving early for a sound check and even playing an “encore” song at the end of the night. The dancing seriously never stopped. We couldn’t even make the traditional rounds to say hello to everyone at the wedding because no one was in their seats! The dance floor was completely packed all night and everyone could not stop talking about how great the music was and what a great party it was. The band even let the best man get on stage and sing a song with them – what a amazing treat for us!!
